I get asked a lot of questions about numbers, like how to have the SRE translate a numeral instead of written out. Remember, we set our preferences in DNS to write out numbers 1 through 10, which is according to the captioning manual at U.S. Captions.
To accomplish this, dictate "numeral one" and it will translate as "1". Saying "numeral two" will translate as "2" and so on. As long as you say the "numeral" and the number in the same breath or sound byte, it will translate the number numerically.
Now for Roman numerals, to have King George, III translate as a roman numeral - dictate "King George roman numeral three". It has to be all in one breath or sound byte, so say it quickly.
A shorter word is already in your custom words it's "roe mack" - so you would say "King George roe mack three" and it will translate as King George, III.
